Carrie's House
Program
Carrie's House is a residential home that provides rehabilitative stabilizations and
extended support to females ages 13-17.
Carrie's House collaborates with a variety of youth and family service agencies to
actively transition residents towards family reunification and stabilization in the
community.
Goal
Our goal is to provide a safe and positive environment to help our residents
develop problem solving skills, explore career opportunities, improve level of self
sufficiency and learn to be responsible and accountable for their own behaviors.
Sample of our Criteria for Admission.
- Females age 13-20
- Resident must have a primary diagnosis of mental illness
- Resident is not known to have tuberculosis in a communicable form
- Resident does not have a history (within 2 years) of creating unsafe
conditions such as setting fires
